Contextualize anything
Translating text has never been easier than it is now, thanks to iOS 15. Almost wherever you can pick text as a selection option! To pick a section of the text, hold down the home button and drag the cursor to the start and finish locations, exactly as you would when copying and pasting. You’ll see a new Translate option in the little popup menu (in some apps you might have to hit the right arrow to see more options).
You’ll receive a notification that the translation is being submitted to Apple. The translated text will appear in a pop-up card, along with choices to copy the translation, switch languages, etc.

For each app, select text size
It has been possible to adjust the system-wide text size for a long time, but iOS 15 adds the option to modify the text size for each individual program. The first step is to activate the Control Center feature. Add a Text Size control to the Control Center by opening Settings, then tapping Control Center and scrolling down.
Open Control Center (swipe down from the upper right corner) and pick the Text Size control when in an app. In addition to adjusting the font size, a toggle at the bottom of the screen allows you to choose between All Apps and the app you’re presently using.

Scan Text Almost Anywhere
New Live Text lets you pick text in photographs from the Camera or Photos app, which may be really useful. As an added bonus, you can type text in practically any location thanks to this technology.
Text selection pop-ups may be accessed by tapping in any text input field, in practically any program, exactly as when copying or pasting. A little symbol of square brackets with lines within will appear if no text has been chosen. In certain cases, you may only see the symbol if there are many selections.

This feature is only useful if you’ve activated it in the settings of your device. Turning your iPhone into an AirTag is now possible with iOS 15, which enters an ultra-low power mode while keeping the Bluetooth beacon operational.
Under the Slide to Power Off interface, you’ll also see a little “iPhone findable after power off” notification.
Turn off the “Night Mode.”
In most cases, Night Mode in the Camera app on current iPhones is a positive addition. It has the power to completely change low-light images. It’s frustrating to have to turn off Night Mode every time you want to use the dramatic dark effect since the Camera app identifies a dark situation automatically. Once you’ve tapped the Night Mode icon, you must next move the timer to zero seconds. It will reactivate itself if you wait for a little before taking another picture.
If you’re using iOS 15, you may save your Night Mode preferences by going to Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings (among other things). When this option is on, Night Mode will remember when it was shut off and will not reactivate itself. You may manually activate Night Mode by tapping the Night Mode indication on your camera.
Video playback speed may be altered
For some time now, apps like YouTube have supported variable speed playing, but the default video player on the iPhone has not. Playback speed options have been added to iOS 15’s default player, which is used for many online videos and by many applications. Tap the three dots in the bottom right corner (the overflow menu) while you’re watching a video and you’ll be able to pick from up to five different playback speeds.
