WWDC 2023: Apple’s new 15-inch MacBook Air
Apple recently introduced the 15-inch MacBook Air, claiming it to be the world’s best 15-inch laptop. This new MacBook Air features a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display that supports up to 500 nits of brightness and 1 billion colors. This new display is twice the resolution and 25 percent brighter than a comparable PC laptop. The device runs on the M2 chip and is said to offer up to 18 hours of battery life, a significant improvement from its predecessors. Furthermore, it also features a six-speaker sound system and a 1080p FaceTime HD camera. Another highlight is the new MacBook Air’s thin and light fanless design, making it the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop. It is also equipped with MagSafe charging, two Thunderbolt ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for versatile connectivity.
The new MacBook Air comes in four finishes — midnight, starlight, space gray, and silver. Customers can start ordering the new MacBook Air now, with availability beginning on Tuesday, June 13. The starting price for the new 15-inch MacBook Air is $1,299.
