Google TV Expands Free Channel Lineup to Over 130
Google TV has significantly expanded its lineup of free streaming channels, now boasting over 130 channels. This impressive growth highlights the platform’s commitment to providing diverse and accessible entertainment options.
The Free Ad-Supported Television (FAST) channels have become a standout feature of Google TV, which now offers well over 800 channels without requiring any login or setup. However, only some of these channels are specifically curated by Google.
When Google TV first launched its free channel catalog, it offered roughly 80 channels. As of June 2024, this number has increased to over 130, although the service remains available exclusively in the United States.
The latest update includes 10 new channels, as identified by StreamingBetter. These new additions enhance the variety of content available and include:

This recent addition brings the total number of Google TV’s channels to 132, up from 117 in November. Earlier this year, a few more channels were quietly added, continuing the consistent growth trend.
Google recently launched a new advertising network dedicated to them. Walmart’s latest Google TV streaming box also features a dedicated button on its remote, specifically for accessing these free channels.
