Atomic Heart’s Annihilation Instinct DLC to Release in August
In a much-anticipated announcement, Focus Entertainment and developer Mundfish have declared that the first DLC for the action-RPG Atomic Heart, titled “Annihilation Instinct”, will be released on August 2. This ambitious shooter, which launched earlier this year to mixed reviews, has already won a dedicated fan base due to its innovative look and gameplay.
The Annihilation Instinct DLC brings several new features to the Atomic Heart universe. A new area, new weapons, new enemies, and a new glove ability are introduced in this expansion. Players will have the opportunity to continue the story from where the base game left off, exploring the mind-bending Mendeleev Complex and its surrounding swamps. The story will delve into the truth about NORA as Major P-3 is pulled back into Facility 3826.
this DLC will introduce a vicious array of shape-shifting enemies that players can combat with two cunning new weapons – the ranged Secateur and the melee Klusha. In addition to the glove’s abilities, known as Techno-Stasis, will allow players to manipulate time itself.
Alongside the DLC, a new Game+ mode is now available for free, offering the most challenging gameplay Atomic Heart has yet presented. In this mode, players will need all of their previously unlocked skills and arsenal to deal with the toughest enemies Atomic Heart has to offer, complete with new specific resistances and attack effects.
The Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct DLC is slated for release across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms on August 2. With its exciting new story elements and challenging gameplay features, this DLC is shaping up to be an unmissable addition to the Atomic Heart experience.
