It’s a big day for Samsung. At its biannual Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, Samsung unveiled eight new devices, including a health-tracking smart ring, foldable phones, smartwatches, and earbuds. Here’s a summary of all the key announcements.

1. Galaxy Ring
Samsung’s Galaxy Ring, teased earlier this year, is a lightweight titanium ring available in black, silver, and gold finishes. It’s water-resistant, pairs with Android phones through the Samsung Health app, and doesn’t require a subscription to access its features. The ring tracks sleep, heart rate, and fitness metrics and offers a new feature called Energy Score, which recommends your readiness for the day based on sleep and activity. The Galaxy Ring costs $400 and is available for preorder now, shipping on July 24.
2. Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6
- Galaxy Z Fold 6: Priced at $1,900, this foldable phone features a 7.6-inch AMOLED screen with improved durability and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and offers better scratch resistance and shock absorption.
- Galaxy Z Flip 6: Starting at $1,099, this phone has a 3.6-inch exterior display and improved camera capabilities, including a 50 MP main sensor. It offers interactive wallpapers and widgets on the exterior display and includes features like Nightography for enhanced night photos.
3. Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7
- Galaxy Watch Ultra: This rugged 47-mm smartwatch, priced at $650, features a titanium case, 10 ATM water resistance, and a bright 3,000 nits screen. It includes a programmable Quick Button for workouts and an emergency siren. It offers up to 100 hours of battery life in power-saving mode.
- Galaxy Watch 7: Starting at $300, this watch offers improved health sensors, including FDA-authorized sleep apnea tracking. It comes in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm, and features dual-frequency GPS for accurate location tracking.
Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro
- Galaxy Buds 3: Priced at $180, these earbuds feature a stick design similar to AirPods and include adaptive noise cancellation and real-time translation via Samsung’s Interpreter mode.
- Galaxy Buds 3 Pro: At $250, these high-end earbuds offer a two-way speaker system, dual amp for Hi-Fi audio, and enhanced call quality. They also feature real-time translation and adaptive noise cancellation.
Samsung’s latest products aim to compete directly with Apple, offering similar designs and features. Preorders are open now, with all products set to release on July 24.
