Samsung Set to Launch One UI 6 Watch Beta for Wear OS Galaxy Watches
Samsung has announced the upcoming launch of its One UI 6 Watch beta for the entire lineup of Galaxy Watch models operating on Wear OS. Slated for release in June, this update aligns with Samsung’s commitment to integrate the latest technological advances into its devices, including new AI features that promise to enhance user experience.
The One UI 6 Watch update, based on the recently unveiled Wear OS 5, aims to provide a refreshed interface and improved functionalities to all existing Wear OS-based Galaxy Watch models. Samsung plans to roll out the beta version initially in the United States and Korea, accessible through the Samsung Members app. This approach follows Samsung’s tradition of releasing updates to a limited number of users to ensure quality and stability before a wider release.
Samsung anticipates a full release of One UI 6 Watch later in the year, likely following the debut of the Galaxy Watch 7 series, which is expected to come pre-loaded with the new software. This new series is projected to launch in July, marking another significant update in Samsung’s wearable lineup.
Eligible models for the One UI 6 Watch beta include the Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic, Galaxy Watch5, Galaxy Watch5 Pro, Galaxy Watch6, and Galaxy Watch6 Classic. This initiative is part of Samsung’s ongoing efforts to keep its technology at the cutting edge, ensuring that its smartwatches offer users compelling and valuable features globally.
